After I sandblasted and zinc coated
the rims, I sprayed a couple of
coats of good primer, and painted the rims "Guards Red" 
base coat.....
I taped off my flames with
1/8 in. 3M tape and finished 
covering with masking tape...
I then sprayed the flames with
an Orange Pearlescent inter-coat
clear, fading away to the 
outside of the rim....
Pulled all of the tape off...
starting with the masking tape..
and then the 3M tape...
Now, she's ready for some clear
coat, and the Pearlescent Flames
will come from no where... and be just enough to catch the eye.
